We are currently seeking applications for the following positions

Cabinetmaker Full-time, permanent

Overview: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will support the production team in the creation of exhibition booths. Pubsphere is looking for an independent, versatile and dynamic individual who excels in working with a variety of materials and tools.

Key responsibilities:

Fabricating and assembling custom furniture
Repairing and maintaining rental furniture
Preparing and finishing surfaces
Handling various materials such as metal, aluminum, wood, laminate, composites and acrylic
Cleaning and maintaining the workspace

Required skills:

Experience in cabinetmaking (REQUIRED)
DEP (diploma of vocational studies) in cabinetmaking or carpentry, or equivalent experience (PREFERRED)
Ability to operate a CNC machine (PREFERRED)
Ability to read technical drawings (PREFERRED)
Ability to use various tools of the trade (table saw, wood lathe, dust collector, etc.)
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines
Dynamic, versatile, independent, detail-oriented
Willingness to work evenings and weekends (as needed)

Work schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Weekends (as needed)
Overtime

Compensation: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour

Booth Supervisor Full-time, permanent

Overview: Reporting to the Installation Supervisor, the successful candidate will support the installation team by participating in the set-up of various company projects. Pubsphere is looking for a proactive, versatile and dynamic individual who is skilled in working with a variety of materials and tools.

Main responsibilities:

Setting up and dismantling exhibition booths, both in our shop and on-site (Canada and the United States)
Preparing, cleaning and packaging booths for shipping
Receiving and storing booth components
Maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization
Procuring materials for booth assembly
Installing electrical and electronic components, such as lighting and LEDs

Required skills:

Ability to read technical plans (PREFERRED)
Forklift operation skills (PREFERRED)
Proficiency in installing electrical and electronic components, such as lighting and LEDs (PREFERRED)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Dynamic, versatile, independent, detail-oriented
Willingness to work evenings and weekends (as needed)
Willingness to travel internationally
Valid driver’s licence and passport
Bilingual
